John-Steven Bolling
John-Steven Bolling has been an athlete riding at Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding for a little over four years now. After a slow start, he quickly became comfortable riding and seeing the confidence and skill he displays today is simply amazing. His riding lesson is the highlight of his week…especially the trail rides…and he looks forward to volunteering to help Freedom Hills with fund raising events and parades throughout the year. In addition to regular riding lessons John-Steven has been competing for the last year and a half at local events, winning numerous first place and champion ribbons, culminating in his winning over all champion in his class at the Rolling Hills Ranch jumping event season last year, class champion in the Therapy Riding competition at the 2021 Maryland State Fair, and a bronze and silver medal in the Equestrian events at the 2021 Maryland Special Olympics.
